Bid on Freelancer with Proposal studio
Open a project listing, score the fit against your profile, and copy a bid that stays inside Freelancer’s character limit.

What you get

Open a project, not a search page
- 1Go to freelancer.com or freelancer.in and open the project you want to bid on. The address should include /projects/…
- 2Wait until the full description is on screen — scroll if the page lazy-loads the body.
- 3Click the Reachly icon. The header shows Freelancer and Proposal studio starts reading the tab.
Search results, messages, and your dashboard are not listing pages. Proposal studio will ask you to open a project.
Generate and paste the bid
- 1Confirm the title, description, and skill chips look right. Tap retry if the scrape came back empty.
- 2Generate proposal. You get a match score, a short rationale, and a draft written from your resume.
- 3Edit in the popup if you want, or use Revise with a short instruction (shorter, more technical, mention a sample, and similar).
- 4Copy the proposal and paste it into Freelancer’s bid box. Watch the character counter — it defaults to 1,500 and follows the Freelancer cap in Settings.
The draft is a starting bid, not an auto-submit. You still send it on Freelancer yourself.
When the listing will not scrape
- Refresh the Freelancer tab after installing or updating Reachly, then reopen the popup.
- Scroll the full description into view and use Retry scrape.
- Make sure you are on /projects/… rather than a category or contest page.
