Write Upwork cover letters in the listing tab
Open an Upwork job, review the match, and copy a cover letter that respects Upwork’s longer limit.

What you get
- Job title, description, and skills from the listing
- Match score against your Reachly profile
- Cover letter draft with a 5,000-character default cap
Open the job you will apply to
- 1On upwork.com, open a job. The path should include /jobs/…
- 2Scroll so the description is fully loaded.
- 3Open Reachly. The header shows Upwork and Proposal studio reads this tab.
The feed, search grid, and proposals list are not enough on their own. Open the job detail first.
Generate the cover letter
- 1Check that Reachly captured the title and description. Retry scrape if either is blank.
- 2Generate proposal. Review the match score and the draft.
- 3Tighten with Revise or edit the text in the popup. The counter uses your Upwork cover letter cap from Settings (default 5,000 characters).
- 4Copy and paste into Upwork’s proposal field, then submit on Upwork as usual.
One credit is used per generate or revise. Job details Analyse on other career sites is separate and does not spend credits.
When the job will not scrape
- Reload the Upwork tab after an extension install or update.
- Scroll the description, then retry.
- Stay on a /jobs/… listing rather than a client profile or message thread.
